Development of communications has led to the situation where devices allowing people to communicate and express themselves are omnipresent and invisible. The OSes are still to catch up, though.

Metta's purpose is to be easily deployable over a range of mobile and home devices, without tedious setup procedures, while allowing people to easily communicate in a very ambient way ("Information at your fingertips" principle formulated by B.Gates in 1997) and express themselves freely by creating, modifying and publishing text, audio and video information easily.
